She Beat Cancer & Climbed a Mountain!

It's like climbing a mountain," Bella said, sipping her tea.
We were in her garden. Sunflowers nodded in the breeze. She'd just finished telling me about her chemo. The nausea, the fatigue, the fear. "One step at a time," she continued, "Some days you slip.
Some days you barely move." She pointed to the peak in the distance, barely visible through the haze. "That's where I'm going next," she declared. "Mount Kilimanjaro." I was surprised. Bella was a cancer survivor, not an athlete.
Months later, a postcard arrived. A photo of Bella, beaming, at the summit. On the back, a simple message: "Made it. One step at a time." It wasn't just the mountain she conquered. It was herself. Sometimes, the biggest mountains aren't the ones on the map.
